Senior Educators Forum 2019-20
Presented by
The Shalom Hartman Institute
and The Lola Stein Institute

God, Technology, and Power

In the 21st century, humans have amassed awesome— almost inconceivable— power. We can build, we can heal, we can destroy.

Do these new heights of capability affect how we think and talk about God? Do our imaginings about God implicate how we perceive these capacities? What is the power relationship that we contemplate when we think about God? How does power reflect in current discussions about God and spirituality? Can we even talk about power?
