Grades 4–6 ~ Social Justice and the Arts

with Rabbi Avika Danzinger, Moreh Nachum Peterseil and Morah Gail Baker

Using the Jewish text from the "Akedah", we will focus on the word "Hineni".

What does this text mean to you? After critically examining it, students will convert the text into film script, interpret it dramatically and create their own film. At the same time, students will compose a soundtrack interpreting the film's message.

The film will be entirely student-produced with guidance from a professional musician and a film maker.
